Dr. Brittany Weiss joined Sycamore Veterinary Hospital as our Medical Director in 2015. She graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in 2007. During her summers in school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and technician at multiple hospitals.
Following undergrad, she worked as a veterinary technician in Maryland for a year. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St George’s University in 2012 after completing her clinical year at Cornell University. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Weiss’s professional interests include surgery, dentistry, and just genuinely getting to know her patients and their owners.
As a certified Fear Free Veterinary Professional, Dr. Weiss leads our certified doctors and technical staff through specialized training and hands on experience to be able to provide this higher level of care.
In her downtime, Dr. Weiss enjoys reading, swimming, and everything about the autumn season. She loves spending time with her husband Matt; her son Lucas; her daughter Savanna; her two cats, Captain and Whiskey; and two Standard Poodles named Rio and Emmy.
