Here at Sycamore Veterinary Hospital, our main goal is to provide the best veterinary care for your loved ones. In Newtown, PA, Drs. Saul Neubauer and Brittany Weiss provide experience, enthusiasm, and energy in patient care. With that in mind, we also strive to partner with shelters and rescues in need of fundraising, donations, adoptions and more. We value and respect the work that they do and feel it is our responsibility to help them as much as we can. Our event on October 19, 2017, for Almost Home Dog Rescue did just that.
The folks at Almost Home Dog Rescue work so hard to give a good life for so many animals. They are a strictly foster-based rescue that relies on the hearts and generosity of their volunteers to provide a comfortable home for animals while they wait to be adopted into their forever homes. We are looking forward to partnering with them on upcoming adoption events so you will be able to take some of these lovebugs home.
A very special thank you to our neighbor, the Green Parrot, for providing us with such a great space to hold this event. Bob Lutz and team could not have been more accommodating and we appreciate everything you did to promote and support our event.
We also want to thank Lagunitas Brewing Company for helping us pull this together, providing great giveaways for our guests, bringing in great beer, and marketing posters that truly made an impact. Josh was eager to help us and could not have been a greater rep to work with.
Also, we were so excited to partner with Pet Plan Pet Insurance. Having pet insurance is extremely important and we encourage all of our clients to consider it. As a preferred partner, we are sure that you will find what you are looking for with Pet Plan Pet Insurance no matter the age or breed of your family member. Our local rep, Joe Simpson, immediately wanted to partner with us and do whatever they could to make sure this was a successful event for Almost Home. The swag bags and glassware were a hit!
Through this successful event and with the help of everyone above, we raised over $1250 for the rescue in 3 hours! We were absolutely floored and grateful for the outpouring of generosity from old friends, new friends, and neighbors. We thank each and every one of you who were able to come to the event, make a donation, or meet the people behind the rescue. And don’t forget! If you adopt a new best friend, come in with your adoption papers to Sycamore Veterinary Hospital and receive a FREE first exam and $20 off your second (new clients only!)
We are looking forward to more events with our community and we hope that you are, too!
Until then we will continue to provide excellent care for your pets and our best friends.
